Urgent, last casting call for THMBNLS..the first ever teen soap opera on your mobile phone
THMBNLS is the first ever interactive soap opera on your mobile phone. This one of a kind new media channel consists of twenty-two, 60 second episodes which will be filmed over the course of 5 shoots. Each episode will be highlighting issues such as teenage pregnancies, sex and peer pressures.
We are still looking for our 5 central cast members between the ages of 16-18. We want people who can not only improvise and think on their feet but who can also bring their own personalities to a character and keep it real. We need people that viewers will be able to relate to and who can bring their own ideas, opinions and personality to the mix.
You must be prepared to be fully committed to the series from beginning (Sept '08) to end (Feb '09) though there are only 5 scheduled shoots.

Caucasian. Hangs around with Lupe and Jakki. Is constantly harrassed by her older brother's friends. Matures at an alarming rate and becomes the voice of reason for the entire group

Caucasian. Bit of a jack-the-lad. Everyone likes Billy because he's a bit of a joker. Girls find him sweet. In an unexpected twist we will follow Billy as he finds his soul mate.

Males, aged 16 to 18 from the United Kingdom
Mixed race. Originally from the Caribbean. Will eventually become one of the UK's most successful R&B artists, but is currently too shy to sing in front of her mates. Blossoms into a stunner by Christmas when all her dreams come true. Has secret crush on Billy but pretends to like Gripper.

Males, aged 16 to 18 from the United Kingdom
Afro-Caribbean. Best mates with Billy. Comes across as an angry character, physically bigger than everyone else. Boxes 4 times a week. throughout the series we see his gentler side emerge.
