Why have we re-listed? Only 5 of the 11 we short-listed were able to attend auditions on 6th February, so we have decided to give the others an opportunity to audition too. In doing so, we will also accept applications from new candidates.
Please only apply if you are:
a) Available for audition on wed 20th Feb at 7pm &
b) Available to travel to USA 1st March (returning 4th Mar)
We specialise in security training and run courses for aircrew around the world in the handling of hijackers and disruptive passengers. We have a number such exercises planned for 2008 and are in need of a few actors/models/extras. Each exercise lasts between 2 and 12 hours, depending on needs of our client.
The exercises normally work best when we shock participants. As such, we swear a lot, are racially abusive to participants, use blank firers, and implement traditional hijacker tactics. Given that we can't actually be violent to client staff, we normally use actors as the main victims.
Usually we have females play the roles of victims who are verbally and physically abused. Given that the clients staff can't actually see what goes on unless it happens next to their seat, (as they are playing the roles of the other passengers) we have to repeat each action in different areas of the cabin.
Improvisation is key; there is no script per se. We need somebody who can cry for help, try and persuade passengers/crew to intervene on her behalf and who doesn't mind being physically touched (obviously not indecently) by hijackers and who can keep this up for hours on end.
Clothing is provided for this role and it is usually torn. We make every attempt to avoid nudity, but it must be appreciated that the "victim", by nature of the exercise, will be in extremely close proximity (often in physical contact) to the other "passengers" on board (basically, don't apply if you're very modest!)

Only apply if you are happy to bring your passport to the audition. You will also be required to advise your home address and present a utility bill (bit like hiring a video!) in your name. This is for security purposes.
The auditions will take place in Twickenham, on Wed 20th February at 7pm. For the assignment itself, the actors are flown (from London) to the venue a day or two before the exercise and then return the day (or 2 days) after. Naturally all flights, accommodation, visa and meal expenses are covered.
We pay £150 per person per exercise, regardless as to whether or not a rehearsal is required the day before the exercise.
