The Wireless Theatre Company is an online audio theatre company based in London, England. We are producing a heart warming play called Laying Ghosts which deals with the pain of loss and the task of finding new joy in the world following the death of a loved one. We do not pay our actors (expenses only) but it is very low commitment and would only require the actress to attend one rehearsal (probably 9 July 2008) and one recording (12 July) in Central London. As this is an audio drama, visuals are not important, so voice reels are preferred to photographs. This also means that as long as the actress sounds the correct age, it doesn't matter if she is the correct age.
We are looking for a middle-aged actress who is able to do an African accent (Ghana is the specified region, but this is flexible) for a central role in our latest full length audio drama.
