RMIT Media students are currently seeking two male actors and a female actress for a short film
The short film is entitled 'The Bachelor' and can most simplistically be described as a modern drama with a dark twist. The script is compelling and challenging, requiring actors and actresses to portray a variety of different emotion in several different scenarios.
Michael - (late 20s) Michael is a man torn between two worlds, the false life he has created for himself with his wife Raine, who is a figment of his imagination, and reality, represented by his best friend John. "Bachelor" follows his breakdown and return to sanity.
Raine - (mid 20s) A perfect, Stepford Wife-esque woman; composed, detached and attentive of Michael. She grows more controlling and eerie as Michael tries to let her go.
John - (late 20s) John is Michael's good friend and workmate, yet has never met Raine. John comes to realise something is not quite right with Michael and everything is not as it seems.
It will be a one day shoot, Sunday May 18.
The roles will be unpaid, however, it is a great opportunity to gain experience and add to your resume.

This is an official RMIT BComm Media student production - all actors and crew are covered by public liability insurance. Actors will be treated with respect, will be well informed, well fed and will have footage or finished film delivered promptly at the end of the production. Any production related costs incurred by actors will be reimbursed.
