| Casting complete: Applications now closed. |
Male and female actors needed for shoot in Farnham for comedy final major project

Auditions: ---------- 14th - 18th of April Auditions will take place in Farnham (Trains run frequently from London Waterloo)
Synopsis: --------- 'Roll Camera' is a reflexive comedy.
A group of student film makers are making a zombie film, but on their last day of shooting the cameraman makes a drastic mistake.
Whilst in transit the record button on the camera is pressed, the cameraman fails to notice and continues to shoot.
This means that the camera is recording when it is not supposed to be and not recording when it should. The film will be made up of the fictional rushes on the tape, which exposes the students for the bad filmmakers they are, showcasing the stressed useless director and the incompetence of the rest of the cast and crew as they fail to deal with the numerous amount of disasters that occur.
Characters: ----------- All character ages are between 18 - 25
Gareth – Director Gareth believes that the rest of the cast and crew are lucky to be working with him. He rules with an iron fist and with focus, however, this often means he misses the bigger picture and fails to deal with the amount of work he must do. He is incompetent at dealing with actors and fails to understand how to communicate with them, often thinking he could do a better job himself. He has a short temper and will not take suggestions in fear of losing his “artistic integrity”.
Gemma – Actress Gemma is young, attractive and bright. She has some minor experience with films and already knows more about the rules of filmmaking than the director. The director’s bad direction confuses her and she is constantly perplexed by the situation. Whilst she attempts to help it is quickly shunned by the director who doesn’t believe she knows what she is talking about
Simon – Cameraman Simon really isn’t too fused about the film or what’s going on. Like Gareth he seems to think he knows what he is doing, but he takes a far more laid back approach to the situation, often finding it funny. Being behind the camera he is largely the voice of the film. The combination of confidence and his laid back attitude further the demise of their film.
Tony – Writer Tony is very quiet. He sits back with a nervous fear of what has happened to his script. He wants stand up to Gareth, but lacks the confidence to be assertive. He has a rage built up inside, but feels useless and pathetic as he watches his script change and defiled in front of his eyes.
