We are seeking male actors, aged 35-45, to attend our casting session on Thursday 17th July
Synopsis:
------------
The blistering morning sun burns down on an arid landscape. Scattered spinifex bushes litter dirt, soaked red from an undying desert warmth. A fast moving station wagon bounds along a narrow bitumen road that scars the face of the vastly uninhabited desert.
After the sudden departure of his wife, David Morton is left abandoned with his two young children, Marnie, aged 9, and Karla, aged 6. In an attempt to relieve the strain that exists between him and his daughters, David decides to embark on a camping trip through the Australian outback with his children.
However, the road trip is brought to a sudden halt when the car blows a tyre. It is here, in this remote and isolated location, that David is forced to face his inner conflict and learn how to bring his family back together.
Seen through the perspective of his oldest daughter, Marnie, Broken Road is a moving story of loss, hope and restoration.

We are currently auditioning for the role of David Morton. We are seeking male actors, aged 35-45, to attend our casting session on Thursday 17th July from 2pm-8pm. Thursday 31st August at 2pm-6pm at the QPIX centre, Brisbane.

Males, aged 35 to 45 from Australia
David Morton, a blue collar construction worker, has decided to take his two young daughters camping for the Easter holidays. Scarred after the sudden parting of his wife, he sets out on a journey to prove to his children and to himself that he is indeed a good father. When the family car breaks down in the middle of the desert with no foreseeable way out, David is forced to stop and look at his life.
