BetaArts are currently looking for new facilitators for its Brixton Project starting in May 2008
BetaArts are currently looking for new facilitators for its Brixton Project starting in May 2008. This will involve assisting in facilitating in drama workshops within schools over May during occasional weekday afternoons, and evening workshops held regularly once a week beginning at the end of May.

Beta Arts is a newly formed outreach theatre group, based in Brixton, which aims to encourage young people within the community to express themselves through drama and the arts.
Through a series of workshops, designed to build upon life skills like confidence, self-reflection, communication, negotiation and active participation, Beta Arts group members will work towards writing, staging and performing their own dramatic production at a Brixton venue in late 2008.
Formed by Brunel drama graduate Kerry Adams and a team of young professionals with a range of experience that spans theatre production, teaching, counselling, documentary making, marketing, PR and community work, Beta Arts aims to promote social inclusion and empowerment through the dramatic arts.
Beta Arts is based in Brixton, a hub for musical and creative arts in South London while suffering from social-exclusion issues within the community, and the group will offer an outlet for young people in the area to engage with creative arts and learn to express themselves in a positive and rewarding way.
In its initial year, Beta Arts will begin its workshop schedule in spring 2008 and will work through the summer with the final performance in May 2009.
