We at Realist Productions are working on our second feature film and are looking for a dedicated actress who believes in the vision and the scope of our film 'Malady' and who is not afraid to take on a seriously demanding role. The right individual must be comfortable with full nudity and be comfortable with improvisation as a new acting technique will be employed with this film so a knowledge of the method approach but also an open mindedness is essential.

About the film: and the role of 'HOLLY'

'Malady'; a story about love and illness and the distance between the two. Holly is suffering from grief caused by the loss of her dear mother, whom she has been caring for for a number of years. In attempt to fulfil her mothers last dying wish, she ventures out to find love, and meets Matthew - a fellow lost soul. Together, the two find solace and attempt to create something beautiful for one another, but as time goes on and the veil of mystique between the two becomes thinner, both Holly and Matthew find themselves spiralling into a nightmare reality where their mentalities are pushed to the borders and together they find the true meaning of family.'

We are an award winning Producer & Director team and have a distinct visual approach to our films and are looking for someone who is looking to work on exciting and new approaches to story telling. Malady will be entered into the top festivals around the world and is already in talks for a distribution deal.
