Busking for Barnardos gives new and experienced performers the opportunity to showcase their talents while raising money to support Barnardos Australia to help vulnerable children in our community.
Throughout the year, Busking for Barnardos hits stages, malls and community fairs across NSW. Local communities are always impressed by the wonderful array of bands and individual musicians, dancers, actors, magicians and other performers that appear from their midst to strut their stuff for charity.
On Sun 16th Sep, Sydney's Cronulla Plaza stage and street will come alive with over 100 performers of all kinds - all 'busking" to raise funds for Barnardos Australia.
The event is sponsored by Brass Monkey Cronulla, who is providing an array of upcoming Sydney bands to perform on the main stage.
We need a pair of MC's to share the microphone, present the show, introduce each act, tell the audience a bit about Barnardos, and encourage them to donate to the charity.
If you have a flair for presenting, and a passion for helping support children in need, please apply. This is a voluntary role, as the whole event is run by volunteers. All volunteers will receive a certificate of participation to thank you for donating your time.
