Fate Vs Free Will. As individuals caught within a sea of chaos that is this world, it is easy to blame our misfortunes on forces outside of our control. However, we're always questioning whether the actions within our control have any cause or not to the bigger picture. What if all our actions have already been predestined? Now what if I told you that every aspect of your life has been embedded into your shadow, and the only way to be truly free and have control over your life... was to extract yourself from your shadow.
On the day of his father's funeral, Darren Moran stumbles upon the notion of the shadow and becomes intrigued and soon obsessed with it. This film documents his journey towards the extraction of his shadow that will challenge himself and his belief system.
NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR:
I'd like to say that I'm a High School Student from Cherrybrook Technology High School so I don't have a great amount of money. I probably won't be able to pay you, but I can always enter in negotiations if necessary. Most of the shooting will be on location and transport will need to be self-provided, it will be a three day shoot and will include a studio shoot that will be used to experiment with shadow art. You will be working with three cinematographers, one audio technician and makeup will be provided as well. Sadly, there will be no catering.
I look forward to your submissions!
All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
