Allstate is supporting a pivotal piece of legislation designed to help prevent teen driving deaths - the STANDUP
The STANDUP Act would set national minimum standards for Graduated Drivers Licensing (GDL) laws. GDL programs introduce teens to the driving experience gradually and in lower risk settings. According to the CDC, strong GDL laws can reduce teen driver crashes by up to 40% among 16 year olds. (Source: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2008)
