'The Caller' is about a man who uses leverage over others to have them carry out a favour for him.
It is a stylistic, dark short which will be shot over three days towards the end of January '12, depending on actor availability. Weekdays only, most likely the week starting the 23/01/12. You would need to be able to film from mid-afternoon through to late evening.
This film will be sent to major festivals across the UK and is being shot using industry standard equipment, including a F3 camera. It is a student film but will be done as a professional shoot.

Marion is the lead actress who finds herself in deep trouble, leading her to regret walking alone in the dark.
She has no dialogue as the film is being short in black and white, 1940s film noir style. If you have any 1940's style clothing including a long coat, preferably beige, that would be a bonus. Otherwise our wardrobe department will sort out the costume.

The Caller
The Caller is a controlling voice who threatens people into doing his bidding.
This part is voice-over only, though his present is felt and nearly seen at times. It would be useful to have the actor on set to be filmed in the background but it is not necessary if you would prefer us to use a stand-in.
Otherwise this role requires one afternoon in our sound booth. We welcome all accents.
