Cinderella: New Zealand’s Best Top Model
Saturday 11 August from 10 am to 2 pm
Actors/singers/dancers are needed for a modern adaptation of the Cinderella story based on New Zealand’s Next Top Model. It will be performed for Kapitall Kids Theatre at the Gryphon Theare, 22 Ghuznee Street in the October school holidays.
Performers are needed for the following roles:
Sandra-Ella – a pretty, quiet, young contestant on New Zealand’s Best Top Model – must be a good singer and happy to sing solo
Montana – a rude, brash and stupid contestant on New Zealand’s Best Top Model
California – Montana’s sister, a smug, self-important, obnoxious contestant on New Zealand’s Best Top Model
Tara – presenter and judge of New Zealand’s Best Top Model and Giselle McQueen – editor of Rogue fashion magazine
Kevin Parker – photo shoot director and judge of New Zealand’s Best Top Model and Charlie Prince – young, hip fashion designer and a Chauffeur (only seen on screen – will be filmed separately) – must be a good singer and happy to sing solo
Jason Jay – runway coach and judge of New Zealand’s Best Top Model and Bodyguard (only seen on screen – will be filmed separately)
All actors will be required to sing and do some basic dance moves, and need to be comfortable interacting with children.
Rehearsals will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons in central Wellington from 28 August. Performances will be at 11 am and 1 pm from 2-13 October 2012.
This is a professional cooperative production on a cost- and profit-share basis.
