Documentary Edge Festival (DEF) is Australasia's premiere international competitive documentary film festival and the only dedicated annual international documentary film festival held in New Zealand.
DEF runs in Auckland and Wellington and includes a Gala Awards, Q & A sessions with filmmakers, special events and more.
Founded in 2005 by The Documentary NZ Trust, a non-profit charitable organization, the 8th edition of DEF will be held in May-June 2013 (dates TBA).
