SUNDAY is a feature film shot in Christchurch earlier this year. We are coming back to Christchurch for 4 days (12-16 July) for a pick-up shoot, and looking for someone to assist on set as a Production Assistant/ Runner. The job will be varied as we are a small crew of 12-13 people.

We are funding this film ourselves because we believe in it, so unable to pay this position, however looking for someone based in Christchurch who is keen to gain experience on set.

Synopsis: Eve and Charlie are having a baby. The only problem is, they're no longer together. After years of history and months of separation Charlie and Eve have one day to face each other and find their own way forward.

Set in the earth quake ravaged city of Christchurch, New Zealand, "Sunday" is a story like the city, one of past devastation and a chance at rebuilding. While the film's backdrop is a broken Christchurch city after the earthquakes, there is a strong theme of hope and rebuilding. We shot many of Christchurch's undamaged areas, and attractions, to showcase Christchurch as a city with unique potential. If the film achieves distribution, then a percentage of its profits will go back into the rebuilding of Christchurch city.

The film has just been accepted into the MIFF 37 South Market.
