Dancers needed for a cyber-punk comedy musical being shot in Bournemouth
My name is Harrison Wall and I am a Television Production Student at Bournemouth University. For my final year project I am directing a 4-minute cyber-punk comedy musical, for which I am looking to cast plenty of backing dancers.
The film is about a lonely science geek who builds himself a robot girlfriend to take to his high-school prom. They spend a joy-filled first date getting to know each other through song and dance, before settling down in the evening to an explosively raunchy yet electrifying climax.
Backing dancers will be required for filming on Sunday 15th November. All dancers will need to be able to pick up basic choreography fairly quickly and be able to mime the lyrics of the song.
All travel / food / accommodation expenses will be repaid. Everyone involved will each receive a DVD copy of the finished film.
The film is for a university project but will be targeting film festivals around the country next year. Over the years, Bournemouth University have had frequent successes at student festivals.
This production company has signed up to the Protecting Actors Casting Agreement, helping to ensure all actors involved receive a copy of the final footage in a timely fashion.
