This short film will be primarily made for entry to the Virgin Media Short online competition. The run-time of the film has to be 2mins 20secs including credits. The whole project is a modern dance/expressionistic routine of physical suffering in which a black person is trying to find himself. Besides acting the dancers must also have a strong facial expression because the film will combine dancing with acting. I have no dance choreography experience but I will find a professional choreographer and work with him/her to create an extraordinary dancing piece.
The deadline for the film submission is 11th of July 2012. During the next few weeks we will organize dance practice sessions and production crew meeting. You, me and the choreographer will work very closely create an unique modern/expressionistic/street dance.
Unfortunately there will be no pay due to our circumstances but there will be a possibility of pay percentage if the film wins the grand prize of 30.000 pounds.

Leading black British dancer/actor.
You will play the role of a black "street thug" who begins to feel body pains and internal sufferings and
starts to dance to a choreographed modern/expressionistic/street dance. Your character will undergo a physical metamorphosis from a black man into a white man through washing your body in agony. Through out the film there is a possibility that you will also a monologue of you talking to the audience about your sufferings and how you see the world.
