Live and Unsigned is the largest national music competition for original artists; bands, vocal groups and solo artists.
Over 30,000 acts have auditioned over the last three years ... Are you good enough to enter?
The competition provides a great opportunity to perform live in front of some of the country's top producers, Label execs. promotors and DJs. If you make it through the auditions you will compete in the Grand Final and the Live and Unsigned Festival.

Over £50,000 in prizes are up for grabs with the winner offered a recording contract with Future Music, and up to £30,000 investment!
AUDITIONS
Auditions are held around the country. You will perform, infront of our prestigious judging panel, a live piece. Should you be successful you will be put through to your regional final. We have limited places, so please register early!
Auditions begin in January 2010.
THE REGIONAL FINALS - LIVE!
Successful audtions will give you a place in the regional final. You will perform an original track with your band or backed by a backing track in front of a huge live crowd!
You will be battling for a place in the Grand Final and the Live and Unsigned Festival.
LIVE AND UNSIGNED FESTIVAL & NATIONAL SHOWCASE GRAND FINAL
The big one! The climax of the competition!
You could be playing at the The Live and Unsigned Festival! A capacity crowd could be cheering you on and applauding your music! If you win, you'll be offered a record deal on the spot!
The winners will be thrust into the media spotlight! TV, Radio, Print ... You'll be there!

JUDGING
The judges will be looking primarily at musical ability, originality and performance capability. The act’s image must be one that’s distinctively individual and original, and they must retain an air of professionalism on and off stage. The judges will be seeking an act that has the potential to be successfully launched in the UK as a major recording artist. Subsequently, motivational skills are essential. The competitors who can sell themselves to those around them will give themselves every opportunity of winning Live and Unsigned.
