Festival4stars International Songwriting Competition is in its 5th year
Festival4stars International Songwriting Competition is in its 5th year. Due to the success of last year’s UK only competition, festival4stars is going international in 2008, with songs being accepted from anywhere in the world.
With written feedback being given to every entrant and the winner being flown to London for a special showcase in front of leading lights of the British music industry, festival4stars’ songwriting competition is a unique opportunity for songwriters across the globe.
Entry fee per song is £15 or €20 or $30 depending on your territory.
Judges last year included Nicky Graham (David Bowie, Bros, Shakin’ Stevens) and Jonathan Shalit (Charlotte Church, Larry Adler). This year the judging panel is expanding to include Erika Lee, Stevie Vann Lange (Blue, Sugababes) and producer Jason Nevins. For the first time festival4stars is giving cash prizes for the best song in each category, so there's every reason to enter!
