Synopsis Mark - a failed concert pianist - now works as a cleaner in a church. He hasn’t given up hope of achieving his life’s ambition and spends much of his time day-dreaming about his musical past and aspirations. One day, while dusting off an old piano, he stumbles across a magical power that enables him to physically control people by using his old piano playing skills. He uses this new-found power to control the movements of his co-workers and people, making them dance to the sound of his music. Crowds of people from outside come dancing in and enjoy the music being played. One young lad steps forward and starts tap dancing to the music and the crowd is soon drawn to his ability. Mark feels neglected and decides to play a different tune for the tap dancer to follow. They go head to head, until the string on the piano snaps and the music stops. People leave and Mark gets back to his work.
Casting is on going for a diverse cleaning crew and crowd: - Men & women, all shapes & sizes, from 25-75 years of age. - Some ability to perform both a ‘rock and roll’ type dance and basic ballroom is required.
