Have had a gifted and talented award for acting at high school for the past two years. I have completed my Performing Arts course where I obtained one A* and two As of A level equivalents

Most recently been selected from 100s of BBC nominated acts to play the BBC Introducing Stage at one of the biggest festivals in UK - Reading and Leeds festivals. Before that was nominated and chosen from many 1000s of acts to attend the BBC Introducing workshop at Abbey Road Studios in London, where I attracted attention from top music scouts and sang acapella, attracting much media attention. Just last month, I opened the Henley Festival for STING and last year for JOOLS HOLLAND. Wrote my first original at 13 and then at 15 'CLOSE YOUR EYES' (see video no 1 recorded). Since then have written many songs with my guitarist and others (see audio section, website and soundcloud http://soundcloud.com/danicahunter). I have also supported the amazing GENO WASHINGTON at the famous Half Moon in London where many great acts have played.

I have played numerous gigs including the famous Chinawhite Club and Proud Camden in London and have been guest act for Live & Unsigned and Openmic UK. I am now also ambassador for Musicality TV. I have been played on BBC Berkshire/Oxfordshire and also on BBC Radio 6 (Tom Robinson) and Radio 2 (Jo Whiley).

Was in grand finals of one of the industry's biggest singing competitions for singers/songwriters OPENMIC UK at The O2 ARENA in January 2011 (via Starnow advert). I am ambassador for Musicality TV.

Singing since I was 11 (Stagecoach), and seriously from about 15. Won several singing competitions at school etc.

Trained at Henley College in Performing Arts, including dancing. Various dance shows at the college.
