I was in the Navy for 13 years. I was a member of the GB Olympic Team at the Sydney 2000 Games. I have been successful in business - and learned at the school of hard knocks, just how hard that can be. Throughout all of this I have acted with amateur groups and presented in a number of events. Now I want to concentrate on my acting career and have the time and resources to do so. I am currently studying acting and film making in Ipswich. I'm new to the business but keen to learn. Letting people down is not in my character.

Acting experience

Lots of school plays from when I was 6 yrs to 17yrs. Oh What a Lovely War, The Crucible, Count Dracula etc etc then AmDram plays from 16 to 21 Hobsons Choice, Diary of Anne Frank. etc etc

Contestant on BBC2 'Time Commanders' in 2003

I speak with an English accent, very clearly but also have a wide range of British regional accents and dialects - Not surprising when you consider I have a Scottish father and a mother from Coventry/Rugby, was born and brought up in North London, lived in Suffolk when I was a teen, moved around the South and West when I was in the Navy - and worked with people from all over the country throughout!

OK- So on paper I have little experience - but I'm fit, strong, funny, well mannered, reliable and genuine - and genuinely quite good!! Most importantly, I am learning very quickly and finding out that I really should have chosen acting instead of engineering when I was 18, but that with application it is never too late!

Presenting experience

Lecturing for 3 years in the Royal Navy Aircraft engineering college.

Presenter on Team GB Sydney 2000 Roadshow - 27 venues all over the UK, presenting to athletes, coaches and sports teams of Team GB on acclimatisation, accommodation, transport and other details regarding the Sydney Olympic Games.

Currently lecturing/presenting for carbonology.com on technical projects/trade shows/boat shows in the marine market, and in the use of high tech materials in sailboat design, motorsport and aerospace.
