A 6 hour live event combining fashion/talent contests as well as live, visual & audio performances
This year there is a 6 hour live event combining fashion, talent contests and live, visual, audio performances. There will be various other events going on around the college throughout the day including many exhibitions where it would be possible for you to have a stand to display any other promotional materials you may have.
Event date: 4th and 5th June
- Rave on Air is the largest student UK event. ROA is unique to Ravensbourne College and has been running for the past 38 years. This year ROA is even bigger as we are hosting a live visual synergy.
- The event will be going out live on TV screen throughout the
College being watched by broadcast delegates from BBC, Sky, Channel 4
etc... streamed live on Ravensbourne internet Push TV and on local
Freeview, which can be viewed for up to 2 miles from Ravensbourne.
How you will be involved?
- We are looking for a 15-20min (although this may be extended) visual and audio based synergy combining live performance with light, music and video. This will take part on the main live stage covered by broadcast cameras.
Here is the brief that we need to fulfil:
- A fully blended synergy performance that incorporates and narrates through:
o Dance (e.g. Stomp)
o Lightshow
o Experimental Visual Performance
o Visual Djs
o Music/Visual Synergy (e.g. Blue Man Group)
Unfortunately this is unpaid but we can provide you with food and drink for the days and a DVD with your performance.
You may also be needed for a rehearsal day a couple of days before the event.
