Loutrix Films (producers) is casting Dance On 2, the movie.
Synopsis:

Dance On 2 the movie is a story about a mother from Cuba who dreams were to come into the United States and to become a famous dancer, and to have a better life for her and her daughter. On the way from Cuba a big storm flips her small motorboat over with her and her friends, not knowing that the only survivor that would touch the soil of the United States would be her two year old daughter who was tied down to her back. Cee-Cee is living in NYC with two jobs, one as a waitress and the other as a dance instructor. She meets Julio, who is also a dance instructor at the same studio and who later becomes her dance partner. But Julio’s reasons for having Cee-Cee as his dance partner are to get her to voluntarily sleep with him (after he and his sister Christine raped her after she was drugged and knocked out cold by Julio’s girlfriend Michelle), and also to enter a dance contest together and win to pay back his gambling debt to the mob.

Shooting begins September 18 in Brooklyn, NY. Auditions will be held by appointment only in NYC. Casting will be held September 5th and 6th; Friday the 5th from 4:30 til 6:30 Saturday the 6th from 12:00 til 3:00. For the casting you need to act out the role as best as possible and prepare a 30 second solo dance routine, it doesn’t have to be salsa. Bring your own CD if you like of your music.
