Looking for a male actor to play the highwayman character of 'Black Jack' in short film
I am looking for a male aged between 18 and 30 to play the highwayman character of 'Black Jack' in short film 'A Prelude for Wesson Smith'.
Young hellion Wesson Smith is apprehended by bounty hunter Wrangler McCarty, but upon snaring the juvenile delinquent Wrangler discovers the charges against Smith have been dropped. Fearing for the boy's future, Wrangler decides to scare him strait.
The film is set in post apocalyptic Edinburgh where due to a lack of energy and fossil fuels the world has reduced it's self to a previous state; the era of the cowboy is reborn.
Auditions will be held in central Edinburgh or if you have access to a camcorder we will accept a recorded audition. Shooting will take place on Sunday 20th July in and around Colinton Dell.
I am afraid due to a tight budget there is no fee available. Edinburgh based actors only or people willing to travel.

Black Jack
Males, aged 18 to 30 from the United Kingdom
The character is tenacious and good at what he does. He has a very strong Russian accent but speaks perfect English. Ideally the selected candidate would be someone of that nationality or someone who can emulate said accent. He's not a tall man, 5"2 - 5"8. I'd also like to note that the character's entire face/head is covered by a black mask and scarf.
