A group of students at the Queensland School of Film and Television are in the pre-production
A group of students at the Queensland School of Film and Television are in the pre-production and casting stage for a TV series as part of their Television Production subject. There are six episodes in total, each two minutes in length.
The team making the series uses industry-standard equipment, and the final product will reflect this. The experience of working on a professional film set with a large crew and with industry-standard equipment will be beneficial to any actors who are looking to make a career in acting, particularly in film and television.
There are two main roles, both male, and both in their late teens to early twenties. Actors should be able to convincingly portray a character of this age.
The series is light-hearted and comedic, so comedic acting skill will be taken into consideration when casting the roles.
We are casting on Tuesday night next week, and all filming will take place on Tuesday nights over the next three months. We'll get back to you with more details about the characters, the story, and about next week's casting session as soon as we can after you apply.
