Disney Cruise Line® seeks talented musical theatre performers for sailing in the Caribbean/Bahamas

Disney Cruise Line® is seeking talented and versatile musical theatre performers for Mainstage productions on their luxury cruise ship, The Disney Magic®, sailing in the Caribbean and Bahamas. Repertory casting for up to four musical theatre style shows. Including; “Twice Charmed”, “The Golden Mickey’s” and “Disney Dreams”. Contracts begin in late August and run for approximately nine months. Competitive pay plus room and board.
Auditions on June 05, 2008 at 01:00 PM. Performers must be trained singer actors who move well. All singers should be prepared to learn a movement combination.
Requirements:

- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Prepare 16 bars of a contemporary musical theatre selection showing great personality; an accompanist will be provided.
- Be prepared to learn a movement combination.
- Bring a current headshot and resume.
- Current Walt Disney World® Resort Cast Members are not eligible to audition.

Roles:
Ann Marie
Females, aged 18 to 29
(5'3" and under') Bright mix. Youthful female with a very energetic spirit. Movement ability a plus.
Franco
Males, aged 30 to 42
Charismatic Baritone with lots of Pizzazz. Excellent comedic actor able to handle a 'song and dance'. 'Wizard' type called on by Lady Tremaine to ruin Cinderella's chances of marrying the Prince.
Lady Tremaine
Females, aged 30 to 43
(5'6" and taller) Cinderella's wicked step mother. Domineering and quick tempered, yet able to turn on charm if needed. Actress who sings and moves. Slim build, movement a plus.
King
Males, aged 34 to 39
(5'9" and under) Comedic Character Baritone. Movement ability a plus
'Peter Pan/Quasimodo
Males, aged 18 to 29
(5'7" and under') Youthful male with a very energetic spirit. Movement ability a plus.
Simba
Males, aged 18 to 35
African American or exotic powerful tenor. Sings 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight'
Prince Charming
Males, aged 18 to 33
(5’10” to 6’) Handsome leading. Beautiful Tenor voice with a sustained A. Charming actor, movement a plus.
Cinderella
Females, aged 18 to 29
Youthful heroine. Excellent singer with both a strong, bright soprano, and a pop mix. Excellent actress, movement a plus.
'Circle of Life' female vocalist
Females, aged 29 to 40
African American. Gospel singer, has the ability to 'bring down the house'. Movement a plus.
Other Mainstage roles
Any gender, aged 18 to 60
Fairy Godmother, Cinderella & Prince Charming, Belle, and Peter Pan in 'Disney Dreams, an Enchanted Classic". Snow White, Nala & Simba, and Pocahontas in "The Golden Mickey's".
