Dance group to perform at the Friday night show at Indy this year
Sunless Promotions and Events is coordinating auditions for a dance group (Dance Groups only, no individuals) to perform at the Friday night show at Indy this year.
Date has now been set:Saturday 2nd August
Location: Gold Coast Parklands Cnr Smith St & Parklands Dr, Southport QLD
Time: From 6pm onwards Exact time is not know at this stage as it will all depend on what time the auditions start, how many groups turn up and if you get through to final round.
Style: No select style of dance is required, however, the following will be a good indication of what we are looking for:
- Appearance
- Interaction with the crowd
- Crowd reaction
- Clothing styles and clothing changes
- Must be sexy & quirky but still be fun & interesting
How many Dancers: This is up to each individual group, take into account the style your group is, how big the floor space is and what sort of exposure you are after at Indy.
Auditions: - Each group will perform for 2-5 minutess in a preliminary round judged from a panel of judges. - 4 groups will go through to a final to make selection of the winning group which will be judged by the crowd. - Stage is approximately 8m x 3m as per the attached picture - You must supply your own music for the DJ- Auditions will be held in front of an audience at the Gold Coast Parklands, QLD Australia. (The event you will be auditioning at is an Automotive Event called "One Nite Stand & Dyno Nite", if you have extra people that would like to attend it will cost $20 for entry to the event)
Dance Groups will receive the following:
- Prize Money for winning group at the Audition
- Dance group to Perform (Paid set rate, amount will depend on the group chosen) at Indy Friday night show and possibly extra events at Indy
- 4 Day Passes for Indy
- Advertisement at Indy within the Organisers Add which gets played all weekend
