A leading newspaper and a women's magazine are looking for women who have self-harmed to speak out about their experience.
It links to recent research showing that many young girls see it as a natural form of expression.
We would like to hear about how you started doing it, how it felt and why you did it. We would need photographs of your scars/injuries and your story would be dealt with sensitively. This is to be an uplifting article that shows how you got help and dealt with the problem.
You would be paid a fee on publication and your story would be read back to you prior to publication to ensure it was accurate and that you were happy with it.
