We're looking for women to take part in a feature about ageing
We're looking for women in their 30s and 40s to take part in a feature about ageing. It will involve an interview about your lifestyle, then you'll be photographed and have your image digitally aged – you'll see
what you'll look like when you're old based on your current lifestyle and a predictive ageing programme.
If you're interested in taking part please send us your details – name, age, job, a photograph and a description of yourself and your lifestyle, e.g.
- a) I live in a polluted city, have a poor diet, don't exercise, I drink lots of alcohol, smoke 8 cigarettes a day. I wear foundation and eye makeup, use a mild face wash and moisturiser, drink coffee everyday, eat take away salads for lunch and often eat dinner at restaurants...
- b) I live in the countryside, and am very active and stress-free. I eat lots of fruit and veg, cook all my own meals, drink about 2l cups of water and herbal tea daily and I have the occasional drink at special occasions. I give myself a daily Ayurveda massage, have a twice daily cleansing ritual and never leave the house without sunscreen on.
- c) I completely avoid the sun and wear light make-up and sunscreen daily. I start the day with coffee but drink peppermint tea and water throughout the day. I also cleanse and tone my skin and exfoliate once a week. I go to the gym about 3 times a week and generally don't drink except on the weekends, when I'll have a few glasses of wine with meals. I generally eat healthily but eat quite a lots of sugary treats.
- d) I am religious about my skin-care routine, I use a rich moisturiser in the evening and although I live in the city I spend much of my free time in
parks and open spaces. I don't exercise much but am a healthy weight.
