Kommando have plenty of opportunities in campaigns for a variety of clients, you must be reliable
I'm trying to recruit some solid, reliable male promo staff for various campaigns. At Kommando, we operate hundreds of Promo campaigns for big and small clients each year. One technology we use at Kommando is known as Pixman. You can have a look at the kit in action on our website.
Basically, promo models wear a backpack which has either a LCD flat screen located above the model's head, or a hand held projector unit attached. Last year we carried out successful campaigns for Amnesty International, Vodafone, T Mobile, Walt Disney Interactive studios, San Miguel and Grolsch to name but a few. Basically clients use the screens or projectors to run adds, let consumers view their website or even play their newest games on the latest consoles (Playstation, Wii etc).
I manage these campaigns and thus am looking to boost my pool of good, reliable staff (which can sometimes be hard to come by). A lot of the time, Pixman campaigns will roll out over several weeks or months, providing a good solid income for promo staff who rely on promo as their main income.

We use only guys as the units are too heavy for girls to wear. Each hour of a Pixman shift is made up of 45 mins of activity and 15 mins break. So while the backpacks will generally start to feel heavy after a while, each hour provides a good break. The packs weigh the same as a heavy back pack
Average Pixman shifts last for 6 hours (e.g. 10am - 4pm) For longer days, pay obviously increases, but each payment schedule is appropriate to each individual job. I always try to give my promo guys as much as I can so that everyone does as professional a job as possible, and is keen for more work as soon as the next campaign comes up. I try to give first offer of work to the guys who have the most enthusiasm, are helpful in times of need and prove themselves to always be reliable
I am also looking for experienced and reliable event managers to be tech coordinators on Pixman jobs. This typically involves receiving kit in advance, managing your team on activity days and dealing with all technical aspects of the Pixman kit. Its not too difficult, it just requires forward thinking and responsible team leaders
Kommando also runs many sampling, promo, experiential and stunt activities all over the UK and sometimes further afield, and anyone registered with Kommando is eligible for any appropriate promo work.
