At Model Child Ltd you will find a friendly and professional agency with a combined experience of over 50 years in the modelling and television industry worldwide. Model Child is a member of the National Network for Children in Employment and Entertainment. All of our staff are C.R.B checked and have a wealth of childcare experience too. We hope that this answers the most frequently asked question by new parents who feel their child has the potential for modelling/TV career.
Once we have received your photographs and are happy to accept you onto our books at Model Child, we will telephone you to invite you and your child in to go through the registration process.
The cost of this is a one time fee of £99.00.
We now also take new registrations over the telephone if you already have photographs.
The cost is a one time fee of £50.00.
We need children from all over the UK to fulfil the increasing demand from our clients
On the day of registration you will be welcomed at the agency by a member of the Model Child Team. We will license your child for both modelling and television work following the Children and Young Persons Act 1963 and the Children’s Regulation Performance Act 1968 as amended. This is done through your Local Education Welfare Office at your County Council.
You will then come into our in-house studio and you will be asked to bring 2 outfits for your child. We will need to get a good headshot and a full-length shot of your child. We will normally use 2-3 photos - these are called test shots and will be the beginning of your child's on-line portfolio.
