Miss Earth, the latest re-invention of the beauty competition.
Miss Earth is the only beauty competition in the world that is devoted to raising awareness of our environment. Miss Earth is a worldwide organisation consisting of over 80 countries throughout the world and is set to be the biggest International televised competition with over 100 countries participating this year.
Miss Earth UK launches it's quest in the search for 4 young ladies up to the
age of 26 years old, never had a child, not married and are a British Citizen to represent the UK devoting time to the single most important cause, our environment.
The competition is an event of style and glamour where women from all over the UK are empowered to bring new meaning to beauty pageants by focusing on and promoting environmental awareness in a fashion show style competition.
The Miss Earth delegates during their participation in the pageant are required to plant trees, attend various environmental seminars and educate people on the three R’s (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle).
The four main titles representing the four elements: Miss Fire, Miss Water, Miss Air and Miss Earth. The Miss Earth title being the top honor are awarded and crowned at the Grand Final. The four winners representing Miss Earth England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will win a host of fabulous prizes and an-all-expenses paid once in a life time experience traveling together to the biggest international televised Miss Earth Pageant with an audience of over 70 million people held in Manila Philippines this October.

The Miss Earth UK Grand Final will be held on Saturday 30th August as a live event of style and glamour for the crowning ceremony of our 4 prestigious UK titles. All regional winners win free direct entry into the Miss Earth UK Grand Final.
Wales:
Accepting applicants now for the Wales regional heats-
*On-line Semi final - Sunday 8th June
The Miss Earth Wales Grand Final will be held on Saturday 30th August as a live event of style and glamour for the crowning ceremony of our 4 prestigious UK titles. All regional winners win free direct entry into the Miss Earth UK Grand Final hosted in Royal Leamington Spa, West Midlands.
Scotland:
Applications for Scotland 2008 are now closed. However you can enter early for 2009. You must live in Scotland to apply.
