Awesome male/female metal drummer required for serious metal band - London
We got together 6 months ago as a culmination of some of the biggest bands in west London, since then we have played countless gigs around London including 2 headlining slots in 2 days at BulletFest in Camden, a slot at the Rock Off Festival at Islington Academy (alongside bands such as Pitchshifter, Evile, This Is Menace, Exit Ten and Breed 77) as well as playing a recent packed out show in our hometown of Ealing. We have also recorded a demo e.p and are currently halfway through recording our debut professional e.p. We are a very serious band and rehearse a minimum of 2 times a week, we have a significant fan base and are considered to be a professional band with an infamous live performance. On top of that we have appeared on a 45 minute interview on total rock in which the demo's received a lot of praise. We have also had one of our tracks played live on Sky TV as Cage Fighting world champion Stav Economou walked out to the track at Wembley arena. Due to time constraints we have parted ways with our drummer and have one month to get our entire hour and a half back catalogue up to our high standards, reason being we have a live TV performance coming up at an up and coming Cage Fighting event, as well as a few other more local shows.
I'm sure that's more than enough to find out if your right for the project and it is a great opportunity for everyone, the success of the band has been largely down to the motivation of the band members and more so the relaxed but productive environment in which we work.
You would need the following:

- Recording and Studio experience are a must have.
- Double kick work is a must have... but must be equally as good with hands.
- Location must be local unless 100% committed to travelling to Acton when required... we all work full time jobs and jam sessions tend to be on evenings and weekends.
- Influences would be the likes of Dave McClain (Machine Head), Vinnie Paul (Pantera), Chris Adler (Lamb Of God), Igor Cavalera (Sepultura/Cavalera Conspiracy), Lars Ulrich (Metallica), Dave Lombardo (Slayer), Joey Jordison (Slipknot).
- Style wise you must have ability to blast beat when needed, do creative fills when needed, and play a solid beat down when needed.
- Image is not so important as we'd like the musicians to be themselves but performance is very important.

We have only uploaded the current e.p today (please see Myspace site on application) for drummers reference, the recordings are without vocals and solo's at the moment. Although we have left the old demo track of primitive up so you get a good idea of the bands overall sound.
