We are a very popular covers band based in Staines, TW18, playing pubs/clubs/functions
We are a very popular covers band based in Staines, TW18, playing pubs/clubs/functions etc. and gigging two – three times a month.
We are looking for a skilled, versatile and inventive lead/rhythm guitarist that can emulate many styles. The band is made up of: Drums, bass/backing vocals, lead singer/rhythm guitar and..you?
Although he’s a good rhythm guitarist, when the singer is singing it limits his guitar work, so you will need to be able to cover rhythm as well as lead.
Our previous guitarist was very inventive, which enabled us to do some very unusual covers for a four-piece guitar band, i.e. “Rat-Trap”, “Land down under” and various ska songs.
Commitment is essential; we like to rehearse at least twice a month so that we can keep on top of our game, and also add new material to continually keep the set fresh.
