Seeking musicians aged 20-35 for funsction bands in the London area

The Musicquarium manages a number of busy function bands in the London area. We have a funk/soul band, a pop/rock band, a jazz/swing band and various other one-off projects that we put together as required. We already have a pool of musicians that we use for our bands but we are always on the lookout for extra musicians, especially those that can sing. We are based in London but regularly perform all over the UK so it doesn't matter where you are based, we may have a gig near you at some point!
We are ideally looking for male or female lead vocalists for either all-round covers, swing/jazz or both. Singers should have excellent 'crowd interaction' skills, varied repertoire and be confident at leading a band. We regularly use either solo male vocals, solo female vocals or a combination of both. Rhythm section musicians that can also sing either lead or backing vocals are also required. Even if you don't sing but are an experienced function performer then we are still interested in adding you to our dep list.
We are not looking to fix any specific dates at this time but there is the potential for a significant amount of work for the right people with the right ability. If you already have a band or group of musicians that you perform with then please mention this as there is the possibility of us using a group of musicians as well as just an individual.

Please note: A list of other bands performed with would also be useful, along with a current repertoire list if you are a singer. Please also mention any gigs that you may have played in or around London as we may choose to come along to view you perform. If we cannot see you perform elsewhere then we will look to hold an informal audition session in London during April or May.
Payment details: from £150 per gig (London) plus travel expenses
