Stage One Theatre Company are looking for an experience female musical theatre performer (18-30)

Stage One Theatre Company, the award-winning amateur theatre company based in Romford, Essex, are looking for an experienced female musical theatre performer to play the lead role of 'Debs' in their next exciting production, the hit 70's musical 'Boogie Nights' to be staged at the Kenneth More Theatre, Ilford at the end of September 2008.
The role: - Debs: Mid-20s: Bold and brassy, a pretty, pert girl. Although strong on the surface, Women's Lib wasn't really for a girl like Debs. She likes doors to be opened for her and even when they are slammed in her face will try to see the best in people.
This character's songs include: I Will Survive, Enough Is Enough, Yesterday One More, Don't Go Breaking My Heart & Reach out.
We are looking for a female musical theatre performer with a strong singing voice and a good level of dance. Rehearsals are held in Romford, Essex, 2 evenings a week 7.30pm to 10.00pm and on Sundays 10.00am to 6.00pm.
