We are looking for a male musical theatre performer aged between 18 - 26 to record the official cast album for an exciting new musical. Stylistically, it could be compared to 'Rent' and Jason Robert Brown's 'Songs for the new world'.
It is an on going project that we will eventually be staging, so the successful applicant will be in line to perform the show also.
This opportunity will suit a gritty, determined character with a dynamite vocal and presence. With it being a challenging acting role too, the part really does call for a remarkable talent.
Possibly the most exciting prospect, is the chance to make this character your own, you will be the first person to perform and vocalise this role, so we will be looking for your input into the character.
The project is based in Birmingham and is currently not funded. It will be ultimately the role of the Cast Album that will secure the finances and sponsorship for the show and its cast.
