We are especially looking for altos. When applying please indicate your vocal range. Note: Open auditions this Friday 13th from 7pm -8pm. If possible we will hold more auditions every Friday 7pm -8pm until the end of June to accommodate all those who apply.
Producer and Composer M. Davidson and an established casting director are looking for very confident singers. We only want applicants who are interested in sharing our vision, flexible and want to learn from us. We want signers with ambition and focus who will practice every spare minute they have. Divas, wannabe, and drama queens will not be tolerated. We plan to have the group perform in paid gigs from September 2008 and gain as much experience in between. We will try to arrange for rehearsals to be evenings and weekends only to accommodate those who have jobs.
Process (Those who do not follow the process or fulfil the conditions will not be considered)
1. Apply with your profile with the following details; Current mobile number, email, singing experience, performance experience, your vocal range, your availability, your style of singing, any training done, if you can read music, and any periods of time you will be out of London for a prolonged period of time in 2008. Including a covering letter describing your personality, style, image and what makes you special and different.
2. If we like you we will give you a call to explain about the project and arrange an audition or invite you to open auditions.
3. If you have a successful audition you will be invited to attend 2 rehearsals to meet the other singers and we will decide if you gel. It is also a chance for you to see if you want to be in the group.
4. There will be a 3 months training period to develop our sound, repertoire, image and to promote the group will be unpaid but will give you great exposure. We have contacts in the music industry and Television.
5. The audition process and training period will be unpaid as we will be providing you with unique opportunities and publicity gained from a major TV show.
Background:

We are directors of a vocal harmony collective with 2 groups already formed. One of the groups is creating a buzz on the Internet as it was formed on social networking sites and became favourites on a new prime time talent show – yet to be aired. Since then we have had interest from various TV executives and show promoters. We are using the publicity and strength of our partnership to create a new super all female vocal harmony group that will take the industry by storm.
Conditions;

1. Only female singers based in London & M25 area
2. Aged 18-35 years
3. Must be willing to explore singing vocal harmonies in different sections that are not in your comfort zone
4. An understanding that the decision of the producer is final in the creative direction of the group
5. Rehearsal time will be strict and disciplined in order for us to meet our performance deadlines
6. Size not an issue unless your have potential as lead or soloist for group (to be discussed at auditions)
7. Must be willing to appear on promotional events for group (TV, radio, magazines, newspapers, Internet etc)
8. Must not be contracted to an agent, Management or publicist already or have 3rd party contracts with music publishers or producers.
