Daily Express newspaper is looking for a good case study for an article on community service

Feature writer on the Daily Express newspaper is looking for a good case study for an article on community service.
I'm looking for someone who was sentenced to community service and is happy to talk about what they thought of it.
Was it easy? Was it difficult? Did it work? Was there any point to it?
I'm also interested in speaking to someone who works - or has previously worked - in community service to hear their view on how effective it is for offenders. There has been a case recently of a man called Michael Chambers who was sentenced to community service but was sent home early on several occasions because of the lack of work. He said he found the experience "extremely frustrating" and a waste of time. The case prompted a judge to say that community service punishments are "good news for people who like sitting around".
I am happy for someone to speak anonymously about their own experience if they would rather not give their real name - and I'm interested in hearing all views.
