Young performance groups invited to apply for christmas gala performances
Appear at The Shaftesbury Theatre on London's West End stage - home of the hit musical Fame at a Gala Sunday Performance this Christmas.
Young Performers invite performance groups and their members of up to 30 years of age to be part of our Christmas Gala Performances on Sunday November 18th and Sunday December 2nd 2007.
If you are a principal, teacher, group leader or attend a performance group we would be happy to receive your application.
It must be stressed that this opportunity is for groups only; as a single member you may apply on your group's behalf and we would be happy to contact your principal or group leader to discuss your groups' performance in The Christmas Gala shows.
Performance groups of all kinds are welcome to apply, including theatre schools, dance schools or groups of all dance styles, cheer leading groups, acro, Irish, choirs, musical theatre, performance depts of academic schools and colleges, etc.
This is your opportunity for your group to experience what it is like to appear on a West End stage, working with the crews who run one of London's most successful musicals.
Our shows are run in a warm and friendly environment. We receive countless messages of thanks from group leaders after every production asking us when they can return to appear again.
For principals of groups, this is a first rate marketing tool, attracting new pupils and demonstrating to your pupils families' the work they have achieved. Additionally, out of London groups enjoy the experience of visiting London on the run up to Christmas to see the London lights and all the West End has to offer for their Christmas shopping.
Your group will only be required to attend on the actual show date of the Sunday gala performance you are appearing in. You are permitted to showcase your own choice of work and use your own choice of costumes.
