Are you a twin in your twenties?
We are looking for a pair of identical twins to help out with a new documentary series on WWII Battles for National Geographic.
Ideally we're looking for two males in their mid-twenties but please get in touch if you're over 18 and interested in coming to Norfolk to take part in various demonstrations.
Windfall Films are looking a pair of twins in their mid-twenties to take part in a documentary looking at the battles of WWII to be shown on National Geographic. The programme will look at how the battles were fought and what factors led to victory.
We need people to come to disused air base in Norfolk and take part in a number of demonstrations including comparing uniforms from Stalingrad and comparing rations from El Alamein.
Just to tell you more about us, Windfall Films is an award-winning television production company with extensive experience of making films about military history including: Revealed: Dambusters; Escape from Colditz; Commando; Machines of War and the recent Sea of Fire about the plight of the HMS Coventry during the Falklands conflict. We are currently producing a six-part documentary series about World War Two. The series, provisionally called Great Battles, will analyse key battles from Stalingrad to El Alamein.
Great Battles will tell the story of battles through the operational decisions and tactics of the commanders on each side. We hope to explain the course of each battle through the dilemmas, choices and challenges facing those in charge. How does a general balance political and military objectives, for example - what impact did supply lines and equipment, or even the weather have on the course of fighting?
The shoot is pencilled in for the 19th - 24th June although it is unlikely we would need you for the entire week.
