| About me: | | I am an enthusiastic and versatile entertainer who has recently broken into amdram with two major roles and am now looking to move into professional work as an extra or in voiceovers. I am happy to take direction, as I feel strongly that if something is wrong you need to know how to fix it. I would welcome any challenges/opportunities: Tough guy/villain/antihero perhaps? Or maybe just someone who thinks he is!
I have written and directed two short amateur comedy musical productions and publish a regular podcast chronicling the plight of Gillingham Football Club, using digital multi-tracking to voice all the characters myself.
I have also broadcast on Radio Kent being interviewed and participating in a "phone in" on psychotherapy (my other life). In January 2009 I will be directing a short amateur comedy film I have written. I also write erotica on a web site, under a female pseudonym, but I'm not telling you what it is! |

Acting experience
1969: The Magic Flute by Mozart. Alto in chorus and performed in brass quartet.
1974: "Terrorist" in military training exercise.
1999 - current: Involved in numerous training events portraying psychiatric patients who may be disruptive due to a breakdown in mental health or under the influence or alcohol or illicit drugs
2003: Part of football crowd in "Green Street"
2006: Part of rock festival crowd scene in an episode of "Midsomer Murders"
2008: Played "John" in Separate Tables by Terence Rattigan at Medway Little Theatre.
2008: "General Von Schmelling" in Allo Allo at Medway Little Theatre.
2008: Played sexually abusive father in student film production based on the Joseph Fridzel case.
Accents: RP, Thames Estuary including cockney; North of England; German.
Additional skills: Full car and motor bike licence. Trained in control and restraint techniques. Ex armed forces therefore accustomed to use of firearms.

Baritone/tenor voice range. Pop/rock/country/musical theatre styles. Play guitar, keyboards, bass guitar, trumpet, harmonica. 25 years experience as professional musician (performing and recording-in 1986 cassette single achieved airplay on Radio Kent)
In 1992 wrote, directed, did musical direction and played accompanying instruments in a half hour musical comedy festival and won award for best original song.
