Amateur/professional actor aged 69,and director for 47 years, with extensive experience of plays from Greek Tragedy to Pinter, including numerous Shakespeare plays, with numerous AmDram companies in London and Surrey.
Recently directed 'Rosencrantz and Guilenstern Are Dead' (rave reviews)by Tom Stoppard and a local pantomime in Surrey and played several roles in the Wintershall 'Life of Christ' for an eleventh year: appeared in 'Comedy of Errors'(Aegeon)in May 2008 and 'Hotel Paradiso' in October, Have/am appearing in 'Oliver Twist', the C.G.I. show, 'Criminal Justice' (all T.V.) and 'The Wolfman'(with Sir Anthony Hopkins) at Pinewood Studios and 'Sherlock Holmes', directed by Guy Ritchie and featuring Jude Law and Robert Downie Jnr on location.
Since December 2008 I have been employed professionally as actor and director by Tovo.com and, in the next few months, we will be producing internet productions of many major plays for students worldwide, currently 'Romeo and Juliet', 'The Importance of Being Ernest' and 'Pygmalion'.
I have most recently appeared in Gogol's 'The Government Inspector'(March) and 'My Fair Lady'(April).
Also experienced in Music Hall and Variety.

In appearance, I am grizzled, with abundant bushy grey hair and beard.
I also play guitar and sing folk songs.
Now semi-retired and available for work within reasonable radius, usually at short notice.
