| About me: | | I’m a hard working person who is easy going. My aim is to become an actor and create new and interesting pieces of drama(Film/television/theatre)i have an eye for what looks interesting to a audience and I’m interested in looking at the small things that happen in performance like the slight hand gestures or a raise of an eye brow that can tell the story altogether. I am also interested in realistic dialogue that doesn’t actually tell the story but creates the characters personalities .I love to build my own character around someone else’s direction and believe that with work I can perform any role.Im a shy guy in person but on stage or in a character i have all the confidence an actor needs.As well as theatre i am interested in films and interested in what a camera angle creates or how specific editing can give a film a whole new feel. Apart from acting i am a big sports fan. i enjoy most sports from football to boxing. Apart from acting and sports, I am a big family and friends guy. |

Acting experience
I have graduated from Hull University with the degree of theatre and performance with Dance. For as long as i can remember i have had a passion for theatre and performance and with this passion i started to run my own theatre company(Penny Duck Theatre) In which i am able to perform new theatre and self written plays. Within the company I try to perform as many shows as possible. I have taken central lead roles in many productions with many company’s since the age of 13.I feel I have a vast range of skill from singing and dancing(Little Shop Of Horrors) to realism(Eddie, Stags and Hens)as well as comedy(Bouncers, Up and Under, Teechers). I have performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 11 shows in 6 consecutive years. I have been on tour with my local theatre group(Harland Hamstrings)in a range of production pieces, having taking shows to many schools and venues ranging from Doncastor to St Ives. I have performed with Hull Truck Theatre in the production of 'Stags and Hens' as well as 'Slavers' which was performed at the Houses of Parliament. As well as performing I have also assisted in work shops for the Hull Truck Youth Theatre. I am a member of the National Youth Theatre since the age of 19 and have taken many courses and workshops within theatre. I have entered the National Student Drama Festival on two separate occasions performing in two new plays(Out Of A Suitcase, Jack)I am Planning on entering a third time with a self written monologue. I have taken voluntary work for the police young offender's panel. Assuming role play situations and being part of a performance piece for a national police and community conference. Whilst at University i worked on many theatre performances including instillation pieces as well as street theatre and performance with modern technology

Television experience
I am currently building up my television experience with only a short apperance on 'Alberts Memorial' which is an ITV drama which is being shown some time in the future.
I have also worked on a few student films. Some been my own work and some have been myself contacting people requesting actors or others contacting myself. I am currently working with a group on a short film which we intend to enter into short film competitions.
