The Miss Earth Australia final 2008 will be in Sydney on Saturday 27 September. To go in to the draw to win two tickets to the Miss Earth final simply email us the answer to the question below. Please note: Travel is not included.

Vote for your favourite contestants in the UK Talent Search |

The UK Talent Search entries have now closed and text voting on entered contestants is now open.
Contestants have received their own unique text code to promote themselves and anyone can vote for the people they think have the most talent by simply texting the unique code published on each contestant’s profile. Texts cost 60p + standard network charges per vote.
At the close of voting, the 10 members with the most votes will go into the final round where a winner will be selected by StarNow.com. The 10 finalists will be judged on the presentation of their profile including the number and quality of photos, videos and audio files.

British International Amateur Film Competition |

StarNow is proud to announce its new partnership with the IAC 2009 British International Amateur Film Competition (BIAFF).
The competition, which runs in April 2009, has a worldwide reputation for excellence and shows the best amateur movies and AV sequences from the UK and overseas.
StarNow is helping IAC members to cast actors and extras for their films and is sponsoring the Best Actor Award (which we hope will go to a Star Now member of course!) So keep an eye out for the BIAFF casting calls over the next few months and apply for an audition for your chance to be the star of an award winning amateur festival film.

The new Miss England is crowned |

| Congratulations to Laura Coleman, 22 of Derby, who took away the crown at the 2008 Miss England national final on Friday. As the new Miss England, Laura will be off to the Ukraine in September to compete against over 100 other countries at the Miss World competition, one of the world’s biggest pageants. Congratulations also to Miss Surrey, Chloe Marshall, who was the second runner up and Miss Norwich, Jessica Linley, who was third runner up. |
