We’ve had a really exciting month at StarNow with some amazing opportunities for our members. Here’s a quick rundown of a couple of them.
Star Wars: Episode VII: The biggest film in preproduction right now has been searching for actors to play two of their lead roles, Rachel and Thomas. Open Castings were held around Great Britain in Manchester, London, Dublin and Glasgow.
Marco Polo: Producers The Weinstein Company and Electus have been casting for major roles in the epic 10 part series for Netflix. Marco Polo is a cinematic adventure of high politics, masterful manipulation and deadly warfare. Young Marco Polo finds himself at the center of a brutal war between two empires in 13th century China, rife with close combat, romance and sexual intrigue, religious tension, political skullduggery and spectacular battles.
Londinium: A feature film based in the year 2018 which tells the story of a man who is down and out and lost in the underbelly of urban London. A young boy reaches out him and takes him to a psychic who starts to realise the man is perhaps the most spiritual man on Earth. The psychic reveals the man's history through a tarot card reading and begins with his birth in a squat where he is visited by 3 pearly kings and starts to see a remarkable resemblance to the most famous and oldest story in the world. This film has been casting for lead and supporting roles on StarNow.
The Singleton: This feature film has been casting for female lead and supporting roles. The Singleton is a film about Kudos, a man who has everything, money, fame and glory. The only thing that's missing is his one true love. This is the story of his journey to find this woman before and after.
