Sydney Film School Partnership and Award Announcement
3 Mar 2010
StarNow are pleased to announce their partnership with Sydney Film School. A number of StarNow actors have worked on high quality short films during the last 4 years and we would like to acknowledge the great opportunity Sydney Film School offers StarNow members.

We both recognise the important role of the Actor and Director working together. Therefore StarNow are proud to announce The StarNow Award for Performance. The award will go to a Sydney Film School student Director and the actor they worked with. The Director and Actor will each receive $500AUD.

"Sydney Film School are very proud to have StarNow join us for Sydney Film School Festivals (run twice annually). Our students have had the privilege of working with a great range of wonderful actors from the StarNow online casting website for some time. In recognition of the important relationship between Actors and Directors StarNow is generously offering the StarNow Award for Performance. This is a unique award that acknowledges the actor and the director working together in creating a worthy performance, in a Sydney Film School film. The two people will each receive a generous cash prize for their efforts" Leslie Oliver, Head of Sydney Film School.

If you would like to meet some of the film school students with the potential to work with them during 2010 come and check out the StarNow Actors 101 evening on April 21st, 6.30pm at the Sydney Film School.

More information on the event will be posted on StarNow in the next week.
