Show Me Shorts 2013 programme announced

Show Me Shorts is New Zealand’s annual national film festival, showcasing the best new short films from Aotearoa and around the world. We are also very proud to be an official partner of this great festival.

This year’s festival kicks off on Wednesday 6th November, in cinemas all across New Zealand. You can check out the programme here.

StarNow is also sponsoring the Best Actor Award, which will be announced at the awards ceremony at Capitol Cinema in Auckland on Wednesday 6th November – don’t worry we will keep you posted on who takes that out.

HollyShorts Film Festival winners announced

HollyShorts is an annual international film festival that is devoted to showcasing the best and brightest short films and advancing the careers of filmmakers through screenings, networking events and various panels and forums.

We’re excited that this year’s winners have been announced. A big congratulations to everyone, especially the Best Short Film winner Mitsuyo Miyazaki who has won two tickets to visit Wellington, New Zealand!

Now in our fifth year, MIM continues to grow and offer filmmakers fantastic prizes and accolades, showcasing short films, features, and films by High School students, highlighting a great range of talent, and encouraging crowd interaction by hosting Q&A with the filmmakers and allowing the audience to decide the winners.
