Over the last couple of years Josh has performed in major theatres alongside world class actors working for Artist Directors such as David Thacker. He has had professional roles in many theatres across the UK and he has featured in short films, feature films and other filming projects. Theatres include The Octagon Theatre, The Lowry Theatre, Shoreditch Theatre, Albert Halls and The Rose Theatre. He performed in Sweeney Todd with the NYMT for 2 years running and more recently in Korczak, David Copperfield and The Winslow Boy. He has performed in front of large scale crowds at West End Live 2010 & 2011 taking to the stage after Shayne Ward. Josh is an accomplished actor having trained with the The Lowry Young Actors Company, NYMT, YMY:UK and The Octagon Theatre from a very young age. With many credits to his name in musical theatre, theatre and on camera, whether in a recording studio, on set in front of camera or performing live on stage Josh is a born performer.

“Teenage pop sensation Josh Taylor released ‘Time And Again’ in September 2012. This has already been featured on SKY TV, played on numerous radio stations and was placed second in the Beat100 Global Music Charts for Unsigned Artists. Earlier in 2012 Josh released ‘Breaking Free’ a charity single for Variety Shows Blackpool and their nominated charity Brian House at The Sands. More recently Josh performed at the North Pier with Rock FM at Lord Glitzy’s Variety Performance for the Extraordinary Talented in front of 800+ for Cash for Kids alongside Tyler James and Booty Luv. On the 19th January Josh performed at the Lancaster Grand Theatre in The Furness Charity Challenge and was place 3rd in the Grand Final which raise £500 for Derian House Children’s Hospice. On the 15th February Josh has been invited to perform at the FAMESTAGE Rising Stars Valentines event at The Pheasantry on Kings Road in Chelsea, London and on the 27th March he has been asked back to perform in the Blackpool Variety Show at the North Pier Theatre.

Learning his craft from an early age, it’s all about the voice and at the core is ‘Pop with an edge’. Josh is not just a teenage singer with a huge vocal he is a performer that connects with the audience. He has a back catalogue of original music all worthy of chart release; he is currently working with songwriters and producers in the UK, Ireland and America who are all backing him as the next teenage pop artist to break through. He has recently completed ‘Forever Yours’ and ‘They Don’t Know Love’ which are now ready to go in 2013. ‘My Dream Baby’ and ‘On My Way Today’ are the latest songs being crafted whilst ‘You Can Be Mine’ is having a remix now that his voice has settled.

Already with ten outstanding original tracks and at least six more in the pipeline, Josh currently posts all his material on ReverbNation, SoundCloud and YouTube whilst posting on Facebook and Twitter to share and introduce his music and the journey he is on whilst pulling together his debut album. Now co-writing and learning to play the guitar and keyboard this young man has a lot to look forward to.

Recently returning from London to meet with top producers and having just signed a key player agreement with Vintage Guitars it is only a matter of time before Josh is rolled out. Still only 14 Josh has set up independent record label ‘Cloud9Records’ to release his first album and to start pushing out some of his singles and EP’s. In 2013 he will be working with 1st Floor Music planning a charity and promotional tour and already recruited is big Tony Adkins, celebrity minder to the stars and Simon Cowell. Luke Bailey, BBC actor, director and writer has also agreed to storyboard and direct the production of Josh’s up and coming music videos. Current songwriters and producers working with Josh include; Ron Walton/Billy Curtis/Derek Griffiths/Bo Walton co-writes, Matt Patchett, Ged McMahon, Rob Elliott/Tom Simanek (EllSimProductions), Andrew Neil, Andrew Beverley/Matthew Humphrys (360 Artist Development), Dylan Charles and Andy Craig.

Now with a look and sound that is quickly establishing a global following, Josh Taylor is going to rock 2013.”
